If certain energy drinks carry about 1000/2000 mg of taurine… which is… ox bile then whyyyy aren’t they banned or put out of business? I love energy drinks but… I am turned off by the thought or drinking anything coming out of an animal front or back.

Taurine is an organic acid which is the building blocks for ALL amino acids. It is found in our heart, nervous system, skeletal muscles, white blood cells, and bile where it is needed to process and digest fats and oils including fat soluble nutrients.
Yes the early forms of taurine were derived from bull bile that does not mean that is where it all comes from. Supposedly some of it is synthesized these days.
